Brandon Brookfield has worked with kickers and punters at the high school and collegiate levels. He currently teaches and coaches at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He is skilled with the proper techniques of kicking and punting, and extremely knowledgeable about mental preparation and attitude.
Brookfield's love for the game started when he was 14 years old and continued through high school, where he kicked a 61 yard field goal. Following high school, Brookfield punted, kicked and held at the University of Louisville. He was a 4-year starter as a punter and an Academic All-American. His senior year he was voted Captain of the Special Teams, he was the Special Teams Most Valuable Player and currently places 4th in
Career Punting Average at Louisville.
Brookfield’s passions are teaching, coaching, and spending time with his family. He has been married for 24 years to his wife, Jennifer, and has two beautiful, athletic daughters.
Upon completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing in 1995 at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Rhead began his coaching career at Dayton High School. He coached boys basketball and baseball. Kinder ventured back to UNLV to pursue a Master's in Education in 1996.
In 1998, he was hired at Silverado High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he taught multiple business courses and coached football, boys basketball, and boys and girls golf. More promising educational and coaching opportunities presented themselves in Colorado, so he left Vegas in 2003 and was hired at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Rhead continued coaching football and boys basketball at MVHS. Kinder is in his 18th year teaching and coaching at Mountain Vista .
Kinder lives in "The Ranch" with his wife and two kids. His family loves to be outdoors (running, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing) and are all huge sports fans!
